musings on the life and knitting of a wannabe baby catcher
About Me
Bunnie
One husband, three cats, and three children later, I'm finally finding my niche in life. I love the area we live in because of the numerous parks close by where I can bike and hike (though I can live without the cold, gray winters). My husband and children help keep me grounded in reality and love me despite my flaws. Through the birth of my children, I realized something that maybe I knew since I was a child...I love pregnancy, birth, and babies, and it is my calling to help women realize the power of the experience of bringing life into the world. My path now is leading me to midwifery..where I go from there we'll have to wait and see!
Knitting keeps me sane. It is my therapy, my opportunity to be creative, and a chance to pass a craft on to the next generation, but it's not the only craft I dabble in!
The funnelweb spiders have been going gangbusters this year thanks to the dry weather. I tried so hard to actually catch the spider in the picture, but he was just far enough in his hole that I couldn't.
I did, however, catch this bee on one of my flowers. Not that I remember what the name of this plant is...but I love the big blooms on it.
